Technology has permeated every aspect of our lives and will undoubtedly play an even more important role in the future. Not only will employers expect their workforce to be technologically proficient but being digitally literate will become an essential life skill.Unfortunately, there has been a great digital divide, resulting in kids from underserved communities lacking the resources and training needed for them to not just function effectively but thrive in the new world.

This state of affairs has driven the Keep On Pushing Foundation to establish a computer lab. This will be a valuable tool which can be used to supplement traditional teaching methods thus creating better outcomes. Additionally, the skills developed will allow students not only to be comfortable with technology but also prepare them to be employable or even start their own businesses.

The same is true for the young adults in the surrounding communities the school serves. The lab will double as a digital academy, providing digital training that will enhance their employment prospects by preparing them to receive industry-wide qualifications or allow them to pursue higher education.
