Now we’re in the rebuilding phase: repairing damaged schools, replacing lost supplies, helping families stabilize. This phase requires sustained support and takes months, sometimes years. Studies show that the period 3-12 months after disaster is when communities either fully recover or fall into long-term hardship. That’s where Jamaica is right now.
