In concert with our mission to provide practical solutions to the things that are preventing kids in disadvantaged communities from getting properly educated, the Keep On Pushing Foundation has undertaken a school supplies program. We continue to believe that education provides a path out of poverty. It is an invaluable tool for empowering students’ success and inspiring their future. We recognize that in the same way that academic instructions are vital to a child’s social, physical and mental development; having adequate school supplies plays an equally vital role in their success.

The lack of supplies can cause children to waste their learning potential, become mischievous and lose interest in school. On the other hand, arriving at school with the supplies they need, helps them to feel prepared and confident in their ability to function in the classroom. The bright smiles, enthusiasm, and appreciation that a student displays when presented with a school bag filled with notebooks, pencils, erasures, and other necessary supplies is invaluable.
